So Minna made a program, we've got the rules sorted out.
The first draw will include around 30 people. To have a chance to win, you buy a ticket (10k for one, limited to ten per person).
Then you chose five numbers from 1-20.

The person who gets the 5 numbers right gets 85% of the whole pot, then 10% for the people who got 4, and the final 5% for everyone who got 3 numbers right.

And when will the draw be held? Once a week? And on what day, Cap'n?

Once a week on saturday evenings? Maybe twice a week for the first few draws, to see how it goes and all?

For the first draw, the pot'll be around 3 mill. So for 100k, you can get 2mil+, which is not bad considering.
Minna's awesome program is going to draw the numbers, and the numbers will be posted as a screenshot.

It doesn't really matter who runs the program, as long as they post a screenshot of it ^^

Also, We'd either have to have a lot of people playing or up the price of the tickets to get the prize money to atleast 10m.

If the ticket price goes up to 20k, we need around 50 people playing, which is not THAT much.

Well basically, it's a weekly solace lottery where any solace member can take part of. One person can buy up to 10 tickets with self-selected numbers, 5 of them, with a range of 1 to 20. The numbers will then be drawn every saturday at X time, by posting a screenshot of my program which I've made. The tickets price hasn't been exactly decided yet, but we're thinking of 10k or 1m for each ticket. The pot will then go to luke's evan character until the next saturday when the numbers will be out. The numbers will be shown as a direct screenshot of the program, in order to avoid cheating and bribes.

With 5 correct number, the winner gets 85% of the whole sum that's on the lottery character. With 4 correct numbers, the winner will get 10%. With 3 correct numbers, 5%. If there's no winners, the remaining sum will be carried over to next week.

The whole thing have been thought up by Moolk, and me, Luke, and Mati then continued with the idea. Apparently the program will be ran by one of these, as Moolk and Luke have the lottery engine for themselves too.

I'm thinking 100k for first 5, then 50% increase in price for the next 5..
this gives more of. risk of buying more tickets and increasing your chances of winning, rather than just a fixed price, since who can will always buy 10. this will give some variety.
So ticket 6= 150k
7= 225k

ETC..

I like the idea, but 50% is a bit much. Maybe every ticket after the 5th should cost 50k more, so 6th is 150k, 7th 200k etc.
Its a nice way of making the prize pot bigger and as you said of implementing the "risk of buying more tickets and increasing your chances of winning".

Otherwise leave the thread for now in terms of possible costs f tickets etc until I've worked out averages, tax, and means, I'll pull the Jrs together at some point and discuss.
