3rd Guild!

Hey all,

Well.. I noticed our guilds are getting pretty full, and the leader is trying to get everything stable now like that all members that are not active get expelled and new active people get invited.
But... what happens when the guild gets full?
Well.. I heard Walzy saying making a 3rd guild is an option..
So.. what do you guys think, should we make another 1?

Name suggestions can be made in this thread and I'll edit the page as fast as I can!

This is an important point, thanks for making a thread! Yes, once both guilds are completely full with very active members who are all registered on the forum we may consider making a 3rd guild. However, that time is a while off - as at least 15 people are removed for inactivity every week just before the regular server maintenance. Furthermore, a lot of people are on the "Numpty" rank ready to be kicked to make space for new members, as they have not registered on the forum and are ignoring requests to do so / do not talk / are not as active as is expected of them (and told porky pies about how many hours a day they were when I recruited them). Thus, there are roughly 140 people in both guilds waiting to be replaced at the moment since they have not registered on the forum!

Before considering a third guild, first deal with how many you have as Citizen/Respected rank and higher for both guilds, there's no use making a third guild if you can't keep two of the guilds with more than 20 members online a time, especially during peak hours.

What i suggest is to either raise the level minimum a little, or conduct interviews with new guildies to get them adjusted and better deal with their placement instead of just linking them here. Here is good and all don't get me wrong, but a personal chat does go a long way.

I'm doing my best, and I do try but I can't private chat 200 people. I'm going to relax the rule of forum registering, and simply keep the constant filtering system going. I've decided it's better to say that people are welcome to join as long as they're active etc. If they register on the forum they can be a citizen and have a secure place in the guild. Otherwise their places will be insecure and they may be filtered out when I recruit new people who may be more willing to register and use the forum/engage with the guild.

Well I still think it would be a good idea to start planning out what a third guild COULD be called, etc.. and all the minor details that have to be addressed if it were to happen. Nothing lost if it turns out that there would be no need to create a new guild due to the fixing up of the existing two guilds, or whatever happens, but time is gained if the information would be needed. Is it possible to start a poll on a thread on this forum? If yes, then votes could be used to decide on the minimum level if needed, and ofcourse the new name. What do you guys think?

I agree with Chaotex.
The idea is just to save time whenever we sure would need a new guild.
We need to get the 2 guilds stable first, that's true, but there's nothing wrong about getting a name already even when it's maybe not even necesarry.

The 3rd guild name would be synonym of Solace or an opposite, like hatred, greed, envy or something D: sorry for bad english

What does solace even mean

Yes, I agree with Chaotex. The name has to fit with Solace, and SolaceJr. The alliance name is "Reverence" although few people know that. If we can come up with many suggestions then I will pick the best and see if I can create a poll on it.

I've decided the 3rd guild name will have to be recognizable alongside Solace. At the moment I am most tempted by the idea of SolaceSr. | Solace | SolaceJr. and Solace | SolaceII | SolaceIII. However, should I eventually decide on Solace II + Solace III, I doubt I will have sufficient funds to support the disbanding of SolaceJr, to transform it into SolaceII, and then create Solace III on top of that. It will cost 200m, plus the effort of transforming everything. I intend to keep Solace and SolaceJr. for quite a long time. Still, suggestions are still welcome and open!

SolaceSr. sounds like it came before Solace, though

I agree with Chaotex, imo it should sound like the final guild of solace, unless its not gonna b final.

Well... I thought about this for a few days and I think that a 3rd guild is not going to be necesarry at the moment.
I already told this thread can be usefull later, but there will be always members quitting and then we'll expel them and their will be comming new members to replace them. So I think a 3rd guild is not an option now.
One more thing : When we create a 3rd guild and their will be like average 30 people online everyday is that most people even can't follow the guild union chat anymore, I have this already sometimes.

There isn't a rush for this anyway, solacejr has tonnes of inactives/unregistered forum members - theres a lot of numpties who won't sign up after being pushed to do so lol

Nemo I'll be glad to help out. Jorch will unfortunately be numpty/expelled eventually as he won't register either, among a few others also.

Seems a pity because he's a pretty sound person, but lets be honest, if people can't be bothered to take 2 minutes to register and maybe check the forum once in a while, then they obviously don't care much for the guild :c
Theres still plenty to go before him though =p Tonnes of inactives, THEN theres the unwilling forum registers =3
