Sup:D
Hmm, how to start this? O.o
Basically, I'll be guiding you on how to make a great, powerful NW (night walker....) with training guides/tips, skill builds, explaining the different ap builds and giving my own personal opinion on all 3:D Also, training spots will be ranked A+ to F (you can probably guessed what that means)
The Ap BuildsThere are 3 main different ap builds that are used for night walkers, these are Dexless (DEX is left a 4, all points are put into LUK), standard (Use the auto-assign button every level, dex will always be double your level) and low dex (Just enough points put into dex to be able to equip normal armours and weapons)
DexlessPros:
Gives you higher damage than standard and low-dex NWs
Easier to level at first
Recruited more often than standard and low-dex for pq's
Cons:
Can't equip thief armours or normal claws
Later on, it gets more difficult to hit higher level monsters (due to lack of dex)
Have to stick with maple weapons at higher levels, can get boring
Weapons and good armour can be expensive
Standard Pros:
Can equip a wider range of armours and weapons than dexless
In later levels it becomes easier to hit higher level monsters
Dodge more attacks = Less pots = Cheaper
Cons:
Don't hit higher figures till 2nd advance
Slower 1st job
Less damage = More star recharges
Low-DexPros:
Can still equip wide range of armour and weapons
Good damage
Can still hit higher level monsters
1st job is fairly quick
Cons:
Cant dodge as many attacks as standard
I chose to cap my dex at around 60/70 (Kinda makes me low-dex I guess

) , I'm level 51, hit about 3.8k on average and I can still easily hit higher level monsters, so I personally think this is the best choice:D
Onto the guide:D
Level 1-10I doubt theres really much explaining needed here, but for the sake of any first time maplers i may as well go through it
Skill BuildMax Three Snails
Max Nimble Feet
The rest (if any) goes into recovery
Theres no real way of messing up the beginner skill build, if you do i suggest you quit whilst your ahead...
Training:For level 1-13 I suggest the KoC quests, as this is a lot easier than grinding mobs till 10
but if you wanna go the hard way
1-10 Tirus, Tigirus, Timus, basically any mobs in Erev
Level 10-30Now time to advance
Speak to Eckhart and go through the dialogue
CONGO-RATS@@@@@@@
you're now a sexay Night Walker:D
This is where the guide actually comes into more use (and where I have to put in a lot more effort ¬¬)
So heres the skill build:
[Level-Level, Skill, +How many to be added, (What level the skill should be at)]
10-17: Lucky Seven +19 (19)
18: Lucky Seven +1 (20=Maxed), Nimble Body +2 (2)
19: Nimble Body +1 (3), Keen Eyes +2 (2)
20-21: Keen Eyes +6 (8=Maxed)
22-23: Nimble Body +6 (9)
24: Nimble Body +1 (10=Maxed) Disorder +2 (2)
25: Disorder +1 (3), Dark Sight +2 (2)
26-27: Dark Sight +6 (8 )
28: Dark Sight +2 (10=Maxed), Disorder +1 (4)
29-30: Disorder +5 (8 ), Darkness +1 (1)
You should end up with:
Lucky Seven (Maxed)
Keen Eyes (Maxed)
Nimble Body (Maxed)
Dark Sight (Maxed)
Disorder (8 )
Darkness (1)
I suggest this build as it maxes damage and range early on, darkness isn't really necessary as NW's tend to attack from a range, so the sprite thing won't be able to attack anyway ¬¬ (I think, I've never used the sprite on a nw)
Training:10-13: KoC Quests (A+)
Each quest levels you up, and they aren't anything difficult...
13-15: Henesys PQ (C)
Given it a C cos I hated it and found it hard as hell, and it's hard to get a good team that knows what they're doing
13-18: Pigs mini-dungeon (Henesys) (A)
[Mobs: Pig, Ribbon Pig]
Quick levels at start, gets a bit tedious later on
13-18: Quests from Bruce (A)
[Mobs: Orange Mushrooms]
These are pretty good for exp, and you get extra exp from killing the mobs
